What's new for ST fans?
ST in Copenhagen (October 2007):

Stephen Trask played at the Nørrebro Teater in Copenhagen in October 2007. We have added a new video here: Midnight Radio in Copenhagen

From Stephen Trask's blog:

A couple of months I got a call from a friend of Yoko Ono who asked me to put together a band to back her up at The Pitchfork Music Festival. I had met Yoko a few years ago when I played with the Stone Temple Pilots at the John Lennon tribute at Radio City. And we spoke on the phone when she recorded some tunes of mine for "Follow My Voice." But we had never played together or really spoken much at all. Needless to say I am a huge Yoko fan and jumped at the chance.

So I called my friend Pedro, a great drummer who plays bass and writes songs for Morningwood, Theodore Liscinski III, bass player extraodinaire (Hedwig, The Devics, Sea Wolf, Tommy Stinson) and Willie Forreal from the Lexington band Parlour Boys and the four of us got together in a New York practice room to rehears the concert. We played for about 10,000 people. Thurston Moore sat in on a few songs. And Yoko was awesome. She is super talented and put on a great show. The audience loved her and she got fantastic reviews.

The picture of her and me is taken backstage just before the show. She gave me an "Imagine Peace" pin for my Korean hoody. I gave her an "Imagine: Stop The War" ink stamp I bought in Korea, complete with a cartoon Yoko drawn on it.

I don't usually write blog entries, OK, never, but this seemed special and a lot of folks were asking questions.

FAQs

Where can I buy the Station Agent’s score?

As far as we know, the score is not available yet. There have been many talks about a CD, and from what we understand two different labels were making arrangements to produce the album. That seemed to have fallen through; however, some of Stephen Trask’s music will be available through his official site StephenTrask.com. His site is up and running, but not much has been added yet.

But, if you cannot buy the CD for the Station Agent, we have good news; you can listen to it here! Just click on Listen in our menu, and select the album you want to play.

Is Cheater ever going to get together again?

No. It is not impossible to have some of the members play together again; however, Mathew Sperry passed away, which makes it impossible for a reunion to occur.

Is Stephen Trask working with Cheri Lovedog?

There were rumors that Stephen Trask was currently collaborating with Cheri Lovedog (from "Prey for Rock and Roll") in her new project: "Too many Bobs." During our latest interview in January 2007, Stephen Trask said that was not true.

What happened with the movie Call Waiting and Stephen Trask?

"Call Waiting" the movie, is listed as a Stephen Trask movie in some web pages; however, we have talked to Jodi Binstock (director), and she indicated that Stephen Trask was too busy to work on it, so, Melnick did the original score.

We still recommend the movie!

For some show times, visit the official "Call Waiting" site.
